Extreme

Here is another kid card from the Cricut cartridge Dude.  The biker is only three layers and the word extreme just screams 'extreme'!  I pop dotted the word so that it really does pop out at you.  Really like how this one turned out!

Skateboarder

Had to made some kid cards and came up with this from my Cricut software - Dude.  The skateboarder is four different layers and quite thick.  For the wording, I think that I spent just as much time looking for the words as I did in cutting out the skateboarder!  I always try to search for wording to go with the cards that I make and finding just the right words for a skater that would appeal to a kid, was kinda hard.  I hope they know what 'shred it' means!  LOL!

And this is the inside of the card.

"Hive" been thinking of you

What a cute card!  I am always a fan of 'playing with words' on a card and this one caught my eye.  Sorry, don't know which webpage I saw it on, but think it turned out kinda neat.  The inside says ...just bee...cause.  I cut it all out with the Cricut and the wording I did on the computer.  The little bee is a 3D sticker from my stash.  Hope it brightens someones day!

More wonderful cards from the club!  I changed a few of them around a little to suit my needs, but love how they all turned out!

Birthday "Bytes"

Needed to make a birthday card for a friend for someone who is into computers.  So just cut out some squares and a triangle to make a 'computer'.  Used clipart for the Windows 'computer screen'.  Then cut an actual mouse with the Cricut for the 'mouse' for the computer.  Words were generated on my computer.  Below is inside of card and is a bit cheeky, but sorta fit the occasion!  And in my stash of papers, came across this one filled with paperclips and thought that it fit the theme.  Hope they liked it!

Die Cut Hi!

Another Cricut card!  This design was a free cut and it is supposed to be used for the back of an iPhone, but I thought it would make a cool card.  Cut the butterfly out three times - first layer glued to card. Second layer was cut on vellum, minus the four cutouts for the wings and then third layer.  Attached the vellum to the third layer, the cutouts in the wings are then see-thru!  But, after attaching it to the card thought that it could use some bling so put Stickles on the vellum showing thru. Haha - didn't need to go to the trouble of cutting out the second piece on vellum, but it was a cool idea!

Run Lauren

I love to create personalized cards!  My niece, Lauren, is running in her first half marathon in the fight against cancer. So proud of her!  Thought that this would be a cute way to send her a check in support of her cause.  Inside of card is below.  All was cut with the Cricut and used a cloud embossing folder for the background on front of card.  The words, good luck, filled the whole inside of the card.  Run, Lauren, run!

Easter Basket

Happy Easter!  This was all cut out with the Cricut.  The basket, eggs and bunny were cut from Doodlecharms.  The grass and bow were cut with Create-A-Critter.  For the basket, after cutting it out, it was too plain so decided to weave the base of it.  Just used two different colors of brown and weaved a big piece of it.  Then placed the cut out basket on top if it and trimmed the weaved part to fit - think it turned out really neat and makes the basket.  Pop dotted the grass and bow for dimension.  Love how this card turned out and hope you have a great Easter!

95th Birthday!

Made a card for a friends mom who was turning 95!  Decided to go with whimsical and so did a giant cupcake.  This is a 5x7 card so it is big!  All was cut with the Cricut. I took about 20 pictures of this card and could not get the colors right, it looks so bold pink and in person it is light pastels!  The 'icing' on top is just a light pink glitter paper which is what I think thru off the camera.  Anyway, it turned out nice, I like the way the white borders make it pop especially around the words.  Happy 95th Birthday!
