Stampin Lady

This stamp is from an old StampinUP set (Stella Stamper) that I got at a garage sale.  Thought this would be a perfect Birthday card for my stamping friends.  Colored in Copics and chalk for background.  Born to Stamp!

Bicycle

I love to go biking - just did today and logged 20 miles!  I had fun making this card.  Stamped the bicycle first, then used post-it-notes so that I would have a straight line for the road.  Use a gray dauber to make the road and then did green for the grass below it.  Used the ends of a border stamp to make the grass.  Then stamped a tree and added leaves with a leaf stamp.  Used chalks to make the blue sky, light green grass and sun.  Then added punched flowers.  Just love how this card turned out - so bright and happy!
This is the inside verse - how much time did I just spend looking for the perfect saying?!  LOL!

Pink Quilt

I like this style of card - so simple and quick.  It also helps to use up some of your scraps!  Once again I just punched 1 inch squares and then pasted them down to paper.  Then ran it through a StampinUP Lattice Embossing Folder, put a ribbon, bow and sentiment on and you are done!

Work Shirt

Another Fathers Day Card!  Do you ever make a card and it takes you almost the whole day!?  You research on the Internet, how to make a shirt for about two hours, then find something so simple that you wonder what you were looking at the whole time!  Then you want a piece of gray paper and you know that in all the thousands of pieces of paper you have, you have the right color, and you finally find it in the stack that you never look at!  What a "tough" card to make - *chuckle* - get it, a man card!
This is for my husband and I was looking for a 'service' type shirt.  Finally came up with this and put our company logo on one side and his name on the other side of the shirt.  Think it turned out kinda neat - hope that he likes it!

You're So Tweet!

Bird cards - love the StampinUP Bird Punch!  Used one of my favorites, wallpaper, for the birdhouse.  Roof was made with Quickutz Stripes Label Embossing Folder.  Ran brown cardstock thru the folder and then cut strips.  Then layered the strips after highlighting with dark brown ink.  Also, cut edges of strips with deckle edge scissors.
When punching out the circle for the birdhouse, my circle punch would not go over far enough for me to center it.  So I cut a slit just under the roof, slid my punch in and punched!  Then covered up the slit with the roof again.  Whew, didn't know how I was going to punch in the center!

This was the first card that I made and I cut the birdhouse too thin.  So I redid the style of the card and made it into a two step card - just love that style and think it turned out pretty neat! (And it is regular sized - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 - so it fits in a regular card envelope).

Comfy Chair

Father's Day Card - Relax and enjoy it!  Another digi colored in Copic's and chalks.  Couch and leg rest were printed out on a sheet of wall paper and then cut out and glued onto picture.  Gives it a neat texture effect, just like a chair!

Man cards are so hard to make, so decided that this could also work for a Get Well card.  "Enjoy a little R & R" and then on the inside is "...and Get Well Soon!"  Once again colored with Copic's and chalks and the chair and leg rest were cut out from wall paper.  Love using wall paper for cards as it gives a neat texture!

Laundry Day

Love the Lattice Textured Embossing Folder from StampinUP for the background on this card.  One inch square scrapes were put together and then run thru the folder.  Stamp is a digi.  Colored with Copic's and chalks.  Below is another version.

A Little Help from my Friends

This was a thank you card for volunteers who helped me at school.  All images are from Rosie's Roadshow - cute little stamps!  Colored with chalks.

Lattice

Love the look of this card!  Flowers were punched from decorative paper and Stickles are in the center of each flower for some bling!

Party Dress

A Birthday Dress!  Dress was cut with my Cricut.  Background is decorative paper (different shades of pink) that was embossed.
