Harvest Table

I love to color and the more detailed the stamp the better.  This was all done in Copics and chalks.  I think it turned out very pretty!

Birds

Another napkin card!  Just love when you can find a very pretty napkin and can invision it being on a card.  Have had this napkin for awhile and finally decided to use it.  The birds across the bottom are from a Martha Stewart punch picked up at a garage sale.  Have always wanted to use it and finally could put it on a card.
The inside saying.  Followed thru with the birds on the inside of the card, just seemed to tie everything together.  And even put one bird on the back of the card where I usually put my initials and year.  Think it turned out kinda cool!

Happy New Year 2013

Another very quick and easy card to make.  I have several clock stamps and stamped this one in silver and then embossed it.  Cut it out with circle Nestabilities and then used pop-dots to raise it up.  "It's that time of year again" was computer generated and background paper was what I had on hand, not sure who makes it.  Inside of card was just "Happy New Year"!

Christmas Stocking

Besides card making, another passion is cross stitching.  My future daughter-in-law didn't have a true Christmas stocking- so this was her year to receive one!  It is a very detailed stocking and took me all year to complete it.  Probably could of done it in less time, if I would of devoted time to it!  LOL!  She loved it and now I need to make another one for new baby Kinlee for 2013.  Better get started on it now!

Happy Holidays Card

Each year I make Christmas cards for our business.  This year made around 250 of them!  I try to make a couple different designs, but time was short this year, so only made one kind.  It was super simple, got the background stamp at the Stamp Show in Cincinnati in August and cranked them out!  Used a red Sakura Glaze Pen for the berries.  They made the berries very shinny and used about three pens to do all the cards.  The Happy Holidays is from StampinUP and used a strip of gold glitter paper.  They looked very elegant!

Baby Shower

I am going to be a Nana (!!!) in February 2013 and had the pleasure of making favors and centerpieces for the baby shower.  Below is the favor - had a small Hershey bar wrapped up in a 'baby blanket' and then used a face and bow that was cut with my Cricut.  Each one had a Nugget with a label stating 'thank you' and a Hershey Kiss with two tiny pink feet.  They were a big hit, everyone liked them.
For the centerpieces - wrapped up diapers around a can and then wrapped each one with a strip of animal felt.  For the grass, cut a round circle and then glued/taped on individual crinkles of grass for the top and bottom.  Yes, it was time consuming, but think that it turned out great.  Each one had a different animal on top

And the cake for baby Kinlee - can't wait for her to be here!

Hello!

Hello!  Just wanted a general type card so decided to go with bold words.  Background paper on front of card is actually a napkin!  Hello and thinking of you were both cut out with my Cricut.  Used pop-dots on Hello so that it is slightly raised on front of card.  Just a quick card to let someone know you are thinking of them.

Window on the World - 2

Just another quick card made from the same stamp set as below.  This one has birdhouses on the window ledge.  I also figured out how to make the wood sections look more realistic.  I scored them again at 1/2 inch intervals and then actually folded the light tan paper on the scores.  While it was folded, I lightly inked the folds so that the section of the 'wood' would look more realistic.  I still scored them vertically and put the gold pen dots on each end so that it looks like nails.  Once again, this will be a favorite stamp set!
